Payment of Fees
Bookings will be confirmed, and a place will be reserved for your dog once full payment has been received prior to commencement of the course.
Course Cancellation & Refund Policy
No refund will be given if you simply change your mind about attending the course.
All course cancellations where a refund may be considered, carry a non-refundable administration fee of $10.00.
If you notify us of a request to cancel your entire booking due to unforeseen health implications to you or your dog prior to the commencement of your course, a full refund will be given for the monies paid for your course, excluding the administration fee.
If you notify us of a request to cancel the remainder of your booking after the commencement of your course due to unforeseen health implications to you or your dog, classes that have already occurred will be charged at $30 each (despite any nonattendance). A partial refund of monies paid will then be given for the difference between the amount for classes that have already occurred and the total amount originally paid, excluding the administration fee.
No refund will be given after a course is 75% complete.
No refund will be given for any missed classes.
If you are to miss a class, it is your responsibility to let the trainer know in advance. If time permits, the trainer will endeavour to show you what you have missed before the next class.
If weather is extreme we may cancel a class as a safety precaution for you and your dog, and the class will be rescheduled.
We reserve the right to cancel any class at any time and the class will be rescheduled.
You are responsible for your dog at all times.
Your dog must be on a lead at all times unless otherwise instructed by the trainer.
Please do not allow your dog to roam freely and approach other dogs and owners whilst in training, unless otherwise instructed by the trainer.
If you have registered 2 or more dogs for any of the classes, you must have a handler for each dog attend the course.
You accept all responsibility of possible risk of injury and/or damage to yourself, your dog and any others that accompany you to a course run by Swanbourne Veterinary Centre and Dog Whispering. You are responsible for any damage caused by yourself or your dog to a person or property.
All information you give to Swanbourne Veterinary Centre and Dog Whispering before a course, in regards to your dog and it’s behaviour around other dogs and people, and it’s vaccination status, should be honest and accurate. If your dog poses a risk to others, is unwell or makes others feel uncomfortable, you may be asked to leave the class. Any minors/children attending a class must be accompanied by an adult and must be on their best behaviour.
Puppies attending our puppy school must have proof of first vaccination prior to the start of the course and be in good health.
We may request proof of subsequent vaccinations as your puppy continues in the puppy school program. Towards the end of the puppy school courses, some sessions will be held at a small grassed area a few doors up from the Swanbourne Veterinary Centre. Whilst this is still considered a safe learning environment for your puppy, it is important that you maintain adequate protection for your puppy against diseases for which a vaccination exists. If you have any concerns about your puppy attending sessions in the grassed area, you must make your concerns known to our trainers or veterinary staff.
Dogs attending our obedience courses or other classes must be fully vaccinated and in good health.
